Quran guides mankind to see signs of God. According to the Quran, The universe and everything that is created by God is proof that there is a wise creator behind the creation. Only people who have a deep understanding and faith can benefit from these signs and get closer to the creator. In this poster, we selected a few verses from more than 750 verses about nature and creation. The selected verses are about animals Including land animals, Birds, and fishes.
The reason we used this art style is that we wanted to get close to ancient illustrations. So we got inspired by Australian indigenous art styles and at the same time used some animal illustrations of prehistoric Iranians to complete the composition. Meanwhile, we were working on this poster we realized that there was a pre-colonial relation between the Northeast Australian aborigines and Indonesian Muslim tribes. (Click here to read more)
Additionally, we realized the aboriginal language is sacred and full of symbols so we avoided looking like a copy of their art style by using newly designed elements.
The selected verses are listed below:
-God has created every living creature from water. Among them are such as move on their bellies, and such as move on two legs, and such as move on four. God creates whatever He wills. Surely, God has full power over everything.24:45- This verse is presented in the right part of the poster. To show the importance of water we used water drop shapes all over the poster. (instead of using simple dots that are common in indigenous illustrations) Furthermore, 3 groups of animals are illustrated. Some of the background animals that are in dark brown are illustrated from the Iranian prehistoric illustrations( pottery illustrations).

-Do they not consider the camels, how they are created? 88:17 There are several illustrations of camels in the third part of the previous verse that is mentioning animals with 4 legs.
-In the earth are neighboring terrains [of diverse kinds] and vineyards, farms, and date palms growing from the same root and from diverse roots, [all] irrigated by the same water, and We give some of them an advantage over others in flavor. There are indeed signs in that for a people who apply reason. 13:4

-And He it is Who has made the sea to be of service (to you) so that you eat from it fresh meat, and draw out from it ornaments that you wear. And you see the ships plowing their course through it so that you may go forth in quest of His bounty and give thanks (to Him Who has created all this). 16:14

-Do they not consider the birds flying in the air subservient to God’s command? None holds them but God (Who has endowed them with the power of flight). Surely in that, there are signs (manifesting the truth) for people who will believe who will deepen in faith. 16:79
